Building Dreams

Finally it's like 'real summer' at our place! The temperature is perfect and the best of all is: 2 weeks of holiday! Unforunatly we recently started to renew our terrace - well the good part is I have an awesome set for my photos - but so I can't have my friends over in the summer nights as I'm used to.

I wore this outfit for dancing rehersal yesterday (dancing in different shoes) and I had to experience that the shorts in comination with the top is quite too reckless for our slightly stuffy town...

Big Jet Plane

Yes, this is the title of one of the most popular songs of Angus & Julia Stone, the singers I wrote about lately.
The look might be familiar to those of you, who follow my lookbook activities. I made it a few weeks ago, when the weather was all nice and hot. At the moment it rains tons and tons of water. I think this look's quite funky and I love it for summer. I usually don't wear the overknees with it, but I like them anyway.
I imediatly fell in love with this dress when I saw it at ZARA, 'cause of the fancy skirt. Also the short sleeved pullover is so nice to wear and it makes the floral, feminine dress more casual.

Born in the USA

As I mentioned before my mom's birthday present last year was an awesome week in New York City. Fitting she gave me this awesome blazer. It looks like it was made out of an american flag. I was born in Manhattan so the look is like MEEE!

I bought the jeans at ZARA's because at that time it had exactly my hair color and it lookes quite great ;) Even though my hair is more and more the natural color I still enjoy the jeans a lot. Its covered by some kind of wax, which makes it quite edgy.

Part Of Me

Not my "normal" style, I know. But how said I have to stick to that!?
On of my best friens wore that floral leggins for school a few days ago and I kinda fell in love with them. So I thought of this look while being in school and asked her then if I could lend it for a day. The next they she brought them with her.

Some of you might have recognized the "FNO"-shirt. For the ones who didn't: FNO stands for "Fashion's Night Out". I was in New York for my 16th birtday last year and FNO was two days after - while I was still there!!! It was AWESOME!

Penguins love flying on planes

Well okay, the headline has not anything to do with the look. I just had to think about a good one and googled flying and love. I saw this headline of some random article and thought: "Wow Penguins are so great, lets make this my title!"

Indeed this isn't the most creative look, but I painted on those shoes for my sister and just had to make them a look. I love the graffiti-artist Banksy and the motive seemed so easy to copy.

Let your dreams breathe

That's my lovely little sister. She's the one always taking the pictures of me, so we mostly play around and once I took that picture of her. That's he favourite outfit right now. She sticks to her style very closelyand like always has phases of wearing something. I think that look fits her perfectly, but sadly she hates it when she gets photographed (although she's very pretty).

Oh so fifties

My mom and I were shopping yesterday. i was trying on some random gear and as I came out to present it to my mom - boom -  I saw that dress hanging there. I just had to try it on. I think it is so fabulous because it's so in the style of the fifties. And I love the fifties.
Gladly I found this adorable shoes by Tommy Hilfiger in the next store, which match the dress perfectly but also look great with a pair of white jeans, just as the dress also fits with shoes like converse :)

She's like the wind

Ah I'm like so bad with writing! Well it's getting warmer outside and I hate being on the internet while it's so beautiful outside! I just feel so frisky :) This look is so nice for wering it after school for just hanging out. Well that's what I do. I've had this dress in my wardrobe since about three years and this is the first year it really fits. I think it's so gorgeous because it is that colorful and floating and just...so nice.

Love Me

(-Elvis Presley. I have to write it with it, because my best friend immediatly linked 'Love Me' with Justin Bieber, which WASN'T my intention. Even though I don't think he's as bad as everybody says.)

Well anyways I bought this dress about a week ago and it's my absolute favorite piece right now. It's very flowing and very girly with all that bows. It gets warmer around here with every day and this outfit describes my feelings perfectly. The used-look tights and the Dr. Martens express the rebel I have inside me ( I don't know why, but it's there and it grows ;)). The dress is my girly side but not too colourful, 'cause it's still winter, isn't it?

Helau & Alaaf

In germany we don't make a big deal about halloween, but we have "Fastnacht" or "Fasching". Everybody dresses up, not as scary as on halloween, but more ugly. The main thing is actualy about partying and the best thing is: one week vacation! Today was "schmutziger Dunschtig" (= "dirty thursday") and everybody came to school in costumes, even teachers. I don't quite like the whole thing, though I didn't make a big effort with my costume. I took this shirt from a clown-costume (I think my mom wore it, when she was pregnant), the red tights and the tube-skirt (both H&M) so it looked kinda "normal".

Me and Bobby McGee

On saturday I was invited to a hippie-style party. In winter!! Well I went there anyway 'cause it was the 16th birthday of a good friend of mine. So I thought of a styling for this evening and I found this cute blouse in my moms wardrobe. The flared jeans I got in New York last year brought the hippie-theme up and I completed it with accessories like my selfmade wooden beads bracelet and the peace-neclace. I enjoyed the evening and the style very much!
